A downloadable game for Windows

Description:

You are an alchemist concocting potions for the nearby town. The townsfolk trust you to provide remedies that will abate their ailments and calm their qualms. You however, have a different plan.

Poison villagers with potions that remedy their ailments initially, only to take them out shortly after.

Collect herbs from around your garden and brew potions with what you find. Remember though, the villagers need to think you are helping them, you can't kill all your patients, and you can't kill them outright either! Plan your potions carefully.

Brewing:

When brewing a potion, take note of the villagers request at the top, place up to three ingredients into the potion in order to help, or hurt, the villager.

If you are ever unsure of which herb to use, be sure to check your journal while brewing your potion.

Remember, ingredients take effect in the same order that they are put in, so make sure to heal the villagers ailment before you poison them, otherwise they will catch onto you!

Developers note

Hi, thanks for taking the time to have a look at Critical Chemistry. (And thanks to my mom for coming up with that name)

This game was made for 'Mini Jam 129: Poison'

This is now my fourth game on itch, and while I do feel as though I have come a long way in my game development, this particular game isn't my proudest. Regardless I had a great tie making this game, and I hope that you can have a bit of fun playing it.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks again for playing! God bless.
